staff management methods.
He has conducted training
workshops on fundraising for
non-profits. He has
assisted organizations in
raising $19.4 million since
1988. His experiences
include: grant
writing, special event
development and organization
that includes golf event
management, individual donor
development, corporate
campaigns, capital campaign
research and development,
endowment campaign
development and
organization, and
promotional material
development for use by the
organization.
He has a Bachelor of Science
Degree in Communications for
Clarion University of
Pennsylvania.
He has served as Executive
Director and on the staff of
several non-profit
organizations including the
Boy Scouts of America, the
National Pool & Spa
Institute, and the
Association of Pool and Spa
Professionals. He is
active in the community and
has served as an agency
liaison with the Union
League of Philadelphia and
five United Ways of
Southeastern Pennsylvania.
He is also a faculty member
of the Continuing Education
Department of Edison
Community College in Punta
Gorda Florida, teaching
non-profit courses. He
serves on the curriculum
development committee of the
Clarion University of
Pennsylvania - Department of
Communications. He
served two years as
President of the Clarion
University Chapter of the
Society of Collegiate
Journalists. He has
served as a member of the
Board of Directors and
Executive Committee of the
Boys and Girls Clubs of
Charlotte County. He
is a member of the Charlotte
County Chamber of Commerce,
the Greater Fort Myers
Chamber of Commerce, and the
Charlotte County Builders
Association. He is
also a member of the
Florida Society of
Association Executives.
He is an Eagle Scout, Vigil
Honor member of the Order of
the Arrow (Boy Scouts of
America), Professional
Circle Award (National Boy
Scouts of America),
Outstanding Leadership Award
(Boy Scouts of America and
various other awards for
civic and community
organizations for his
